Your first visit at Oral Dental starts with a comprehensive consultation to discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. A friendly team member will take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as prescribed. We’ll then perform a detailed periodontal (gum) exam as part of your overall evaluation. Your images will be displayed on a 40-inch monitor, allowing the dentist to walk you through the results in real time. They will recommend the appropriate dental cleaning and any additional treatments if needed. If time allows, we may even be able to complete your cleaning during the same visit.
We accept most dental insurance plans and will gladly bill your provider for services. Not using insurance? Ask us about our Oral Dental Membership Plan—a great way to access quality care at an affordable rate.
Dr. Robert Hannah, shaped by the tranquility of Athens, Tennessee, embodies the essence of genuine care in his dental practice. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee dedicating his career to serve and better communities. In his pursuit of excellence, he underwent rigorous training in a General Practice Residency at Montefiore, further refining and honing his skills to cater to his patients' diverse oral health needs. His journey led him to practice in New Orleans, LA, a vibrant city rich in culture and history. However, he missed the energy and pace of New York City because it was where he felt most at home.
Dr. Hannah envisions an elevated, sustainable, and mindful dental experience at ORAL Dental Studio —meticulously designed to alleviate stress and anxiety for his patients, a vision realized through his establishment of an intentional, patient-centric practice. His compassionate and approachable demeanor creates a welcoming environment, ensuring each patient receives personalized care with ease. Dr. Hannah aims to empower his patients to attain their oral health aspirations with comfort and confidence.
Dr. Hieu Pham was born in Vietnam and grew up and graduated from dental school in Texas. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Boston, MA where he had the opportunity to refine his skills and work with an underserved and vulnerable patient population. He has always been drawn to New York City, now a place he calls home, due to the cultural richness, global influence, and endless opportunities for things to do, places to eat, and people to meet.
At ORAL Dental Studio, Dr. Pham delivers a high caliber of care utilizing technology, biomaterials, and techniques consistent with his standards. His dental philosophy is to take a comprehensive and proactive approach to address underlying issues while prioritizing his patient’s needs and preferences, all the while involving them in the decision-making process with him. He utilizes the latest proven technology and research to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning to deliver results with precision and predictability that are personalized to his patients.
Dr. Carmen Espinal brings a global perspective and refined expertise to her role at ORAL Dental Studio. Born and raised in Venezuela, she later made New York City her professional home, where she completed her dental education and advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics. Her clinical focus includes full-mouth rehabilitation, complex implant dentistry, and the restoration of maxillofacial structures impacted by congenital or acquired conditions.
With a strong foundation in precision-driven, evidence-based care, Dr. Espinal takes a thoughtful and artistic approach to treatment—carefully balancing function, esthetics, and long-term oral health. Her work reflects a deep respect for individuality: each patient’s story, goals, and experience shape the care she delivers. At ORAL, she values collaboration, innovation, and creating a calming environment where patients feel heard and empowered. Whether rebuilding a smile or refining it, Dr. Espinal is committed to delivering outcomes that are as resilient as they are beautiful.
Dr. Alejandro Lander is a skilled and detail-oriented dentist known for his artistic approach to anterior esthetics and precision in restorative dentistry. Originally from Venezuela, he is fluent in Spanish and comes from a family deeply rooted in dentistry—his uncle was a pioneer in maxillofacial surgery education at the University of Caracas.
Dr. Lander earned his DMD from Boston University. He advanced his training through a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Interfaith Medical Center, gaining expertise in surgical and pediatric dentistry. Committed to continuous education, he participates in the Yankee Dental and Greater New York Dental Meetings.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lander is an Arsenal supporter, gamer, and music enthusiast who enjoys calisthenics, snowboarding, boxing, and pottery. He has lived in Japan, studies the language, and appreciates NYC’s diversity and energy.
